this clip makes me blush! this song is so early 90's it brings back memories of when i was 13 and i lived on magazine st in this big pink house. we were across the street from sally's beauty supply and if you sat on the balcony you heard jodeci, silk, swv, and r kelly all day long. i used to sit out there and hang out with my friends eating chinese food from danny's #2 and drinking my parent's liquor chased with gatorade. it makes me want to eat salt & vinegar chips and wear booty shorts and keds. in other words, this song is awesome.

i'm quite lazy when it comes to my hair. i wore it really short for years because it's VERY thick (i regularly break hair elastics and barrettes - not too mention combs)and wavy (it can't decide if it's going to be curly or straight). It's also really dry and frizzy. And i hate dealing with it. if i don't straighten it, curl it, blow dry it, or even brush it this is what it looks like and i've decided to just be ok with that. i've been dying for a silky straight baby fine bob for years and i've finally accepted that's not going to happen. ah well.

1. My dad -"You'll either pay for it now or later." (He would say this all the time. It was his reason for why we had to study or do the dishes or whatever. It's true though).

2. My mom - "If you ever need to know you'll figure it out." (this was her response to 12 year old Yvette's inquiring as to how gay people had sex. But it applies to everything really doesn't it?)

well went to greek fest and i forgot to take a photo of my food before i went crazy and ate it all but fifi is always more restrained. so here's what she ate! (basically i ate the same thing just minus the pastichio and meatballs)

then we hit flea markets and junk shops and bought a crazy lamp.
